Respiratory illnesses like RSV can be especially risky for young infants, but an RSV vaccine given during the third trimester of pregnancy potentially could protect babies after they are born. Our team drove randomization of 501 patients at eight sites in just 19 weeks for the sponsor of an RSV vaccine study. We did it by engaging our community OBGYN referral network and leveraging connections among trusted physicians to increase interest. Our sites were ranked in the top 10 of all sites participating in the study and enrollment by our team helped double study diversity.
